Prior to joining Susquehanna Civil in 2014, Crystalann Deardorff gained 12 years of experience in a wide range of transportation projects, rising to Senior Associate at a national engineering firm. Her duties as part of the leadership staff are project management and client and staff development. She was named an Associate in 2015 and in 2017 Crystalann was promoted to Director of Business Systems, assuming responsibility for the drafting group as well as companywide IT, where she is leading numerous technology initiatives. In January of 2018, Crystalann assumed the role of Vice President of Business Systems. In this role, Crystalann is the firm's newest shareholder and now sits on Susquehanna Civil's Board of Directors. She is certified as a Bridge Safety Inspector (CBSI) and in pipeline assessment, and has training and experience in both noise and air quality analysis. She holds a B.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Lafayette College and is registered in PA and MD. Crystalann has been active in promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) by volunteering in local schools and with Junior Acheivement. She is also very active in encouraging women to pursue technology and transportation fields by volunteering with Girl Scouts and by serving in WTS International where she is currently president of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter.
