Lea A. Nadler, P.E.'s headshot

With Lea stepping back from her President role, she has transitioned to her new title of Founder. Lea will provide advice and support, and continue with external representation of SCI.

Ms. Nadler is a civil engineer and biologist with thirty-three years of professional experience. Her career in both engineering and environmental services drives the firm’s integrated design approach on infrastructure projects. Her work throughout the United States, from New Mexico to Massachusetts, has involved highway, bridge, transit, utility, defense, planning, and site development projects. Her primary areas of technical expertise are hydrologic and hydraulic analysis; erosion and sediment pollution control; stormwater management; water quality studies; natural resource inventories and management plans; terrestrial and aquatic habitat evaluation and replacement; environmental impact statements; permit applications; public and agency involvement programs.

She earned her B.A. in Biology from Susquehanna University in 1986, a graduate certificate in Project Management from Penn State University in 1992, and Master of Environmental Pollution Control from Penn State in 2006. She maintains professional licensure in Pennsylvania.

She is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE). She is active in ACEC/PA’s Government Affairs and Business Practices committees and has served on the Board of Directors and as the chair of the Transportation Committee’s DBE Subcommittee. She is a founding member of the Harrisburg Chapter of the Women Presidents Organization and of the Central Pennsylvania Chapter of the Women’s Transportation Seminar. She was a member of the 2014 class of the Central Penn Business Journal’s Woman of Influence, and in 2016 she was honored with the ATHENA Leadership Award by the York County Economic Alliance. Currently she serves as professional advisor to the Messiah College student chapter of the Society of Women Engineers.
