Mr. Greenland joined Susquehanna Civil in 2012, bringing with him six years of experience from other engineering firms. He holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Geoenvironmental Studies from Shippensburg University and is a licensed Geologist in Pennsylvania and Delaware.

As a former Geotechnical Group Leader, Mr. Greenland has managed geotechnical field and office efforts, developing and coordinating test boring and laboratory testing programs for projects across Pennsylvania. He has also performed geotechnical engineering design and analysis for projects of varying complexities and subsurface conditions throughout the state. His expertise includes spread footings, steel and concrete piles, drilled shafts, cut and fill stability, reinforced slope designs, and retaining wall designs. Additionally, Mr. Greenland is experienced in geophysical field methods.

In January 2019, he was promoted to Director of Project Delivery, where he managed company-wide delivery schedules, manpower efforts, and PM development. By January 2020, Jeremiah became the firm’s newest owner and was promoted to Vice President of Operations. In this role, he oversees the company’s day-to-day operations and Group and PM development. He has provided leadership and management on various transportation design projects for PennDOT. In January 2025, Jeremiah became Senior Vice President of Operations, increasing his overall management role while maintaining Operational oversight.

Mr. Greenland is active in the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) and serves on the ASCE Central PA Geotechnical Conference Planning Committee. Mr. Greenland is also a member of the American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE), the American Council of Engineering Companies of Pennsylvania (ACEC/PA), the Pennsylvania Council of Professional Geologists (PCPG), the Association of Environmental & Engineering Geologists (AEG), and the Harrisburg Area Geological Society (HAGS).  He is also committed to his community, leading mission groups that provide individuals with basic needs such as food, water, and shelter locally and regionally.
